FAQ

Questions, answered straight

The questions our desk hears every week, answered the way we'd answer them across a coffee in Pyrmont.

The essentials

Room bookings need only a card guarantee. Packages and events take a 20% deposit. Nothing is charged until checkout unless you've chosen a prepaid rate.
All rooms and indoor areas are smoke-free, including balconies. There's a designated terrace on level two. Rooms found smoked in carry a $500 cleaning charge.
Smart casual in the restaurants after 19:00; neat dress on the gaming floor at all times. The pool, spa and breakfast room are relaxed. Thongs are fine at breakfast, not at dinner.
Tell us the new arrival time and we hold the room and re-time your transfer. There's no charge for flight delays; that's simply part of booking through a desk that answers at 2 am.
Yes, and about half our guests do. The tower has its own entrance, lifts and lobby. You can spend three days here without seeing a gaming table.

Rooms & rates

The stay itself

Corner Jewel Suites on floors 18–20 take the widest harbour angle. Harbour Kings on 16+ are the sweet spot for value.
At $48 bundled versus $56 on the day, yes if you eat before ten. The cooked-to-order counter makes it a proper meal, not a buffet scrape.
Eight pairs of Harbour rooms connect. Request it at booking; we hold them together so they can't be sold apart.
Usually, or matched with extras added — breakfast, parking or a spa credit. When the hotel's own rate is genuinely lower, we say so.
Free to 48 hours before arrival on standard rates. Peak dates and packages follow the terms on the refunds page.
Fourteen nights and over moves to our long-stay rate sheet, roughly 18% under the nightly card with weekly housekeeping.
Casino, spa & dining

Downstairs and level six

Membership-based gaming rooms with higher limits and hosted service. Our VIP packages include an introduction and hosted first visit.
Weekends, yes — a week ahead is safe. Weekday mornings we can often arrange same-day. The thermal circuit alone needs no booking.
Yes, every room key opens the pool deck, 05:30 to 23:00 daily. Cabanas on the south end book separately.
Sokyo for a long dinner, BLACK for steak and a view, Harvest Buffet for groups who can't agree. Our dining page has the details.
Three private dining rooms seat 8–30. The chef's table is eight seats inside the kitchen. Both need 48 hours' notice.
The main floor runs around the clock. Table games pause briefly on Christmas Day, Good Friday and Anzac morning as required by law.

Terrace garden seating
Open
til 23:00
Two quiet spots

The terrace and the garden deck

Breakfast moves to the garden deck when the weather allows. The terrace bar takes over by afternoon, and both stay open until 23:00 — quieter corners than the main floor when you want a conversation.

Groups & events

Bringing ten or more

Room blocks, buyouts and event floors have their own rules — and their own rate card.

Group enquiry
Ten rooms or a single event space booking, whichever comes first. From there we move you to the group desk and one coordinator takes the file end to end.
Yes — the Skyline floor takes full buyouts on most dates. Two separate fire escapes keep it compliant, and the lift can be keyed to bypass other floors for private events.
They can. Packages are built per group — some want spa slots, some want a set dinner menu, some want neither. The coordinator prices each element separately so you see exactly what you're paying for.

The policies, unabridged

Everything we state here in plain answers also exists in the formal documents — same rules, more clauses.
